Working on my admission essay with EssayPay ended up revealing things about myself I didn’t expect. Somewhere between rewrites and those oddly precise prompts, I caught myself wondering why I kept avoiding certain moments from high school in Chicago and why I kept returning to a single line Steve Jobs said at Stanford.
